During the Covid-19 pandemic, the conditions of poverty have worsened: Household income has declined, maintaining regular income has become increasingly difficult, and layoffs have increased dramatically. Under social isolation, vulnerability has also intensified. How is one to manage isolation when housing is precarious and you must provide for your family?
Elos Institute is looking to support 20,000 families in 20 states in Brazil. During the last 20 years, Elos Institute had the opportunity to co-create social projects with over 180 communities in 20 different states in Brazil. Now, during this global crisis, Elos is looking for donations to support the communities in this network who find themselves in a critical condition. The pandemic caused an economic recession for all, but the impact on those in more need has brought Brazil back onto the Hunger Map.
